10/25/2012 - Submit pre-application to AWAA
12/01/2012 - Decide to switch to China and CCAI
12/11/2012- Mailed application to CCAI
12/19/2012 - Application accepted
03/08/2013 - Accepted Dang Mei Tong as our daughter
04/08/2013 - Home Study approved by CCAI
04/15/2013 - Home Study approved by DCFS
04/17/2013 - USCIS received our I800A
04/30/2013 - Received fingerprint appts.
05/16/2013 - Fingerprint appts. in Naperville
05/28/2013 - Received I800A approval
06/03/2013 - Took paperwork to Chicago to be certified and authenticated
06/10/2013 - Picked up paperwork in Chicago
06/12/2013 - Mailed dossier to CCAI!!
07/05/2013 - Dossier to Translation
07/12/2013 - DTC!!! (dossier to China)
07/15/2013 - Dossier arrived at CCCWA in China!
07/22/2013 - LID!!!! (log in date)
08/23/2013 - Received an mail that our LOA was on the way!!
08/29/2013 - LOA arrived - only 37 days waiting!!
09/04/2013 - I800 received at lockbox
09/18/2013 - I800 approved
09/25/2013 - Received PDF of letter from NVC - we are cabled!
09/26/2013 - Article 5 drop off
10/01/2013 - Overnighted our passports to courier for Chinese Visas
10/15/2013 - Received visas in mail!
10/17/2013 - Article 5 pick up!
10/30/2013 - Travel Approval!
10/31/2013 - Consulate Appointment confirmed
11/07/2013 - On a plane to China
11/11/2013 - Gotcha day!!
11/20/2013 - Consulate Appointment
11/22/2013 - return home/Emme becomes a US Citizen!
